Body Fat %
Percentage of your body that is fat. Men: 6–17% fit. Women: 14–24% fit.
Muscle Rate %
Proportion of your body that is lean muscle mass. Higher is generally better.
Body Water %
Total body water. Normal: Men 50–65%, Women 45–60%. Dehydration shows low values.
Basal Metabolic Rate
Calories your body burns at rest. Higher BMR = faster metabolism.
Metabolic Age
Your metabolic age vs actual age. Lower than real age = healthy metabolism.
Visceral Fat
Fat stored around organs (belly area). Level 1–4 healthy, 5–9 average, 10+ alert.
Protein & Muscle Mass
Protein is the building block of muscle. Higher muscle mass = better strength & metabolism.
Weight Without Fat
Your lean mass — bones, muscles, organs & water. This should be maintained or increased.

🍽️ What are Macros?

Builds & repairs muscle. Sources: eggs, chicken, paneer, dal, fish. Aim: 1.6–2.2g per kg bodyweight.
🌾 Carbohydrates (40%)
Your primary energy source. Sources: rice, roti, oats, fruits, vegetables.
🥑 Fats (30%)
Essential for hormones & joints. Sources: nuts, seeds, ghee (in moderation), olive oil.
BMR = Basal Metabolic Rate — calories your body burns at complete rest. TDEE = BMR × Activity Level.

📐 How to Measure?

Neck: Measure just below the larynx (Adam's apple), tape slightly sloping down at front.
Waist (Men): Narrowest point, usually at navel level. Breathe out normally.
Waist (Women): Narrowest point, typically 1 inch above navel.
Hips (Women only): Widest point around buttocks.

Devine Formula — Originally for medication dosing. Widely used clinically.
Robinson Formula — A revision of Devine, slightly more accurate for average adults.
Miller Formula — Tends to give lower values, useful as a lower-end reference.
BMI Method (18.5–24.9) — The WHO-recommended healthy weight range based on your height.
No single formula is perfect for everyone. Use these as a general guide and focus on body composition (muscle vs fat) over just scale weight.

💡 Hydration Tips

🌅 Morning: Start with 1–2 glasses of water before chai or breakfast.
🏋️ Pre-Workout: Drink 400–600ml water 1–2 hours before training.
💦 During Workout: Sip 150–250ml every 15–20 minutes of exercise.
🔄 Post-Workout: Rehydrate with 500ml within 30 minutes of finishing.
🌙 Evening: Reduce water 1–2 hours before sleep for better rest.
Urine colour check: pale yellow = well hydrated. Dark yellow = drink more. Clear = possibly over-hydrated.
